The starting point

Understanding what is really going on

A proper injury shouldn't mean the end of your active life. It means you need the right plan not just rest and hope. It means you need the right plan, not rest and hope. Most people we see have already tried rest, and found the pain returns the moment they go back to what they love.

“Josh went above and beyond to make sure I got the correct diagnosis and treatment. What was originally thought to be a hip flexor injury turned out to be a stress fracture.”

Common drivers

What tends to be behind it

That's why a one size fits all approach so often falls short.

Muscle strains and tears

Hamstring, calf, quad and groin injuries need graded loading, not time off. The dose and timing determine whether it recurs.

Ligament injuries

Ankle sprains, ACL, MCL. Accurate grading at the start shapes the whole rehabilitation timeline.

Tendon and overuse

Achilles, patellar and shoulder tendon pain respond to specific progressive loading and poorly to rest alone.

Post surgical

Structured rehabilitation following reconstruction, repair or replacement, built around the surgical protocol and your goals.

How we work

Recovery isn't just rest. It's a structured process.

Accurate assessment

We identify exactly what is damaged, what is not, and what your body needs in order to heal properly. No guessing.

Protect and restore

Careful early phase management that reduces pain and protects healing tissue while movement begins.

Rebuild strength and confidence

Progressive, sport specific rehabilitation tailored to your body and your sport, not generic handouts.

Return to full activity

A structured return to sport plan so you come back properly, neither too early nor too cautiously.

FAQs

Common questions

How soon after injury should I come in?
Early is generally better. An accurate assessment in the first week prevents a great deal of wasted time and unnecessary worry.
Do I need a referral or scan first?
No referral needed, and often no scan either. Clinical assessment identifies the vast majority of sports injuries accurately.
Can you help if the injury is months old?
Yes. Long standing injuries usually persist because the loading phase was never completed properly, which is entirely fixable.
Do you work with insurance?
Yes, we work with all the major providers including Bupa, AXA and Aviva.
